Police-Media Interactions during Mass Demonstrations: Practical, Actionable Recommendations
Following the summer of 2020, in which a wave of protests swept over the United States and law enforcement and journalists at those events were often in conflict rather than in harmony with one another, the Police Executive Research Forum and the Reports Committee for Freedom of the Press convened a COPS Office–supported roundtable to discuss police-media relations and interactions, especially at mass protests.
