| In April 2021, the City of Columbus and the Columbus (Ohio) Division of Police (CDP) requested assistance from the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ). The COPS Office, in conjunction with technical assistance providers 21CP Solutions, assisted the CDP and community stakeholders with developing a reform plan to help meet their public safety goals.
